HOW CHARDONNAY MADE ITS WAY TO SPAIN.
In the late 1900s, a vine disease ravaged the vineyards of France, and winemakers brought Chardonnay, their beloved white grape, across the Pyrenees and into Spain in hopes of preserving its legacy. The cultural exchange between France and Spain is what helped Spain become the great wine region it is today. Regalita del Vino is made from 100% Chardonnay and is a true expression of what a white wine from a warm climate can taste like: ripe mango, starfruit, lemon, and peach are carried by a creamy finish.
THE SPANISH FLEX.
The massive mountain formations that run through Spain are a key player in why Regalita del Vino tastes so delicious. From the Pyrenees to the Sisterna, mountains shield the grapevines from thunderstorms, hail, and damaging winds. The breezes that do make it through keep Chardonnay grapes fresh and safe from damage as they develop their signature fruity aromas.
